Standard warning dials:

diesel fuel filter turns off after a few seconds - OK
is on all the time (INSP 4) - water in the fuel filter (diesel)
is blinking - immobiliser fault is on - engine, engine equipment or transmission fault

exhaust emission control system is on - OK turns off a few seconds after starting the engine - OK
is on all the time - exhaust emission control system fault
is blinking - fault that could damage the catalytic converter

ABS (antilock braking system) turns off after a few seconds - OK
is on all the time - ABS fault is on - ABS fault

engine oil pressure is on - OK turns off a few seconds after starting the engine - OK
is on - low engine oil level, risk of engine seizure

brake system, clutch turns off after a few seconds - OK
is on (with the handbrake engaged) - OK
is on all the time - brake system or clutch fault, low brake fluid level is on (with the handbrake engaged) - OK
is on - brake system or clutch fault, low brake fluid level

airbag systems, belt tensioners turns off after a few seconds - OK
is on all the time - airbags or belt tensioners fault
is on - airbags or belt tensioners fault

door open is on - door or tailgate open

alternator (battery charging) is on - OK is on - battery is not charging

coolant temperature is on - temperature too high or low coolant level

seat belt reminder is on (with unfastened seat belts) - OK is blinking (with unfastened seat belts) - OK

fuel level is on - low fuel level
is blinking - very low fuel level

Optional warning dials:

ESP (electronic stability program) turns off after a few seconds - OK is blinking - OK, ESP was activated
is on - ESP fault or ESP is off

parking distance sensors is blinking - sensors are dirty
is on - sensors fault

engine oil level is on - low engine oil level

DDS (deflation detection system),
tyre pressure monitoring system is on (red) - decrease pressure in the tire (tires)
is on (yellow) - DDS fault

Open&Start system is on - system fault or the steering lock is not released
is blinking - electronic key is out the reach or damaged key

AFL (adaptive forward lighting) turns off after a few seconds - OK
is on or blinking - system fault is on all the time or blinking - system fault

diesel engine preheating system,
DPF (diesel particle filter) turns off after a few seconds - preheating is on
(only at low temperatures) is blinking - DPF cleaning required

IDS (interactive driving system)
CDC (continuous damping control) turns off after a few seconds - OK is on - system fault
